JobResearchLab provides AI-powered job search services including:

• Automated job board and portal scanning
• AI-powered role evaluation and fit scoring
• Tailored CV and cover letter generation
• Interview preparation materials
• Salary benchmarking and negotiation support
• Application tracking and pipeline management

1.1 Nature of Services

Our services generate application materials based on your profile and job descriptions. All generated content requires your review before submission. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, interview invitations, or job offers.

1.2 What We Do Not Do

• Submit applications on your behalf without your approval
• Guarantee interviews or job offers
• Fabricate qualifications, experience, or credentials
• Provide career counselling or professional advice

2. Your Responsibilities

2.1 Accuracy

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate profile information, qualifications, and experience
• Reviewing all generated materials before submitting to employers
• Ensuring application materials truthfully represent your background
• Verifying that generated content does not misrepresent your qualifications

2.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to misrepresent your qualifications, submit fraudulent applications, or violate any applicable laws or employer terms of service.

3. Intellectual Property

Generated application materials (CVs, cover letters, interview prep) are yours to use, modify, and submit as you see fit. Our AI models, algorithms, scoring methodologies, and platform remain our intellectual property.

4. Payment Terms

• Credits: Purchased in advance, applied per application
• Expiry: Credits do not expire
• Refunds: Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase
• Used credits: Non-refundable once application materials are generated

5. Disclaimers

JobResearchLab provides AI-generated application materials as a productivity tool. We do not guarantee employment outcomes. AI-generated content may contain errors and must be reviewed by you before use. We are not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, or career counselling service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for employment outcomes or hiring decisions
• We are not liable for third-party actions (employer decisions, ATS filtering, etc.)

7. Confidentiality

We treat all user data as confidential. Your CV, profile data, and application history are never shared with employers, recruiters, or third parties without your explicit consent.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time:

• Unused credits are refundable within 30 days
• Your data will be deleted within 90 days
• Generated materials you have already downloaded remain yours

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Cape Town, South Africa, unless otherwise agreed.
